Skateboarding, I am huge fan of this activity, culture and movement. I used to skate for a while but part of me convinced myself not to pursue doing it because I thought that I wasn’t good enough to even cruise around. This dude “Haroshi” an artist that creates an art out of skateboard to turn into pretty much anything he wants. His creations are born through styles such as wooden mosaic, dots, and pixels where each element, either cut out in different shapes or kept in their original form, are connected in different styles, and shaven into the form of the final art piece. This time, skateboard is shredded into pieces of tiny block and he puts each tiny piece of them to create 3 dimensional trophy that gives a finger for the winner of Battle at the Berrics 6. Battle at the Berrics has been a really interesting show and still ongoing to 8 right now so make sure to check his website as well as Berrics.
The founder of Number Nine, well-known Japanese maestro Takahiro Miyashita, his latest collection sneak-peek short clip was revealed recently. This is just a two minutes clip that has a couple look with a monochromatic depiction (I can’t personally see the color of its clothing though). Yet this clip can be good enough to show how much his talent is beyond our imagination in detailing, construction and his way of understanding the world.
