Vol. 84 SOULIVE

Psychological adjustment, I just thought about it from middle of nowhere at certain point as I was starting to write about something in my mind. I remember clearly that once I was in the land of freedom (cliché indeed, but not quite at various point), I literally needed to change my personality in order to say something out loud when it comes to speak in English. I am pretty sure that for those who learn how to speak Japanese would encounter this shift change so that they do not have to mess with Japanese by saying something straight-forward or directly to them.

We are considered to be one of the sorry-ass shy people from all over the world. “When the nail sticks out, it gets hammered” type of principle is definitely a thing here so that all of us try not to stand out and be less capable of expressing our daily thought to others. Is it really happening though? The social norm of Japan let us not to directly talk our heart out by beating around the bush to chat with one another. Especially since it would just be an appropriate to say something in a objective fashion, everything that people say would be nothing but a superficial sound of voice coming from their mouth to let it play repetitively. I thought Japanese is one of the best language to do so however what is funny is that every language has its own way of not to be straight-forward and English also has tons of it just to give others a comfort. I wonder how Japanese learner gets to manage to acquire these types of fuzziness to cope with ambiguity of interaction with Japanese. Probably My English is improving in a way to get to understand the nuance of language? IDK…

Though I feel that this ambiguity is one of the interesting cultural capitals of Japan, there are tons to get to know about it from here. “Celuxe Blue” themed with Indigo, established in 1992 as a fabric maker, shaping their own perspective of the world with unique ideas and latest technology, “SOULIVE” is born to express their sophisticated motto to the world.

Basically this project or brand is one of the affiliate of company called “Japan Blue Jeans”. I would call them as one of the “Indigo/Denim giants” from the denim xanadu Kojima in Okayama (岡山) prefecture. The motto of creating the best jeans equals the best material has its finest principle to select cotton, to spin it, to dye the yarn and weave a fabric, those four processes creates one of the best denim from all over the world and denim aficionado could not be more appreciated for their quality of denim.

Their latest collection 2016 spring/summer would be named as “Indigo Session”. The touch of indigo which are the secular change of wrinkles, resonance of fading, and affection that one has to wear over times plus items that represents spring and summer. Here is their latest collection of how indigo is applies to their collection

Along with denim fanatics, though I personally have less fond of denim itself, I am fond of something that has a touch that describe aging. It applies to pretty much everything that as years gone by or as you spend sometime with everything around you, gradually creating story that no one will ever be duplicates. It might sound as a bit of a down-at-the-heel or grungy for those who does not get to understand this concept but humans are also created this way by getting old and enable them to create a unique flavor of what one had been passed through of his life. I hopefully have a great unique personality with aging and not to have too many wrinkles or fading.
